PHASED REOPENING BEGINNING JUNE 1, 2020

MAY 28, 2020

Davison Dental is dedicated to providing your family with the very best dental care in a supportive and caring manner. We believe that our office should be a friendly, welcoming environment that patients enjoy visiting. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the severity of the situation, we feel it is necessary to make changes to ensure the safety of our patients and our team. The office may appear different, but our mission remains the same. We would like to share some of the changes and check-in procedures you will see at your next office visit.

Appointments will be spaced out to allow for social distancing between patients. That might require rescheduling (or modification to) existing appointments and fewer options for scheduling new appointments.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

At least 72 hours prior to the scheduled appointment, all patients will be sent a pre-appointment screening questionnaire that must be completed as part of the confirmation process. For patients unable to receive electronic communication, these questions will be asked during the confirmation phone call.  Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled if the pre-appointment questionnaire is not received prior to the day of the patient’s appointment.

We will be utilizing a curbside waiting room.  Upon arrival, please remain in your vehicle and call 810-653-3393 or text us (from your confirmation text message) with the patient’s name.   An administrative team member will confirm they have you checked in and will ask you the screening questions or send you a link to complete the questionnaire yourself.  All persons in the vehicle will be required to complete the screening questionnaire.  You will remain in your car until notified by a team member that the team is ready for you.

Once you have been notified by the team that they are ready for you, please proceed to the entrance. A team member will greet you and take your temperature.  A temperature that exceeds 100.3 will require that the appointment is rescheduled.  The temperature of any parent, guardian, or escort will also be taken at this time.

facemask.png

Only patients (and if necessary, in the case of minor patients, one accompanying adult) may enter the office.   All patients (and accompanying adults) must wear a self-provided face covering while in the office. You will be instructed by a team member how to safely remove your mask at the appropriate time.  Siblings, grandparents, friends, etc. must remain outside the office.

handsanitizer.png

All patients and guardians will be asked to use hand sanitizer upon entry into the office.

plexiglass.png

Plexiglass barriers have been installed at the front desk.  Barriers have also been placed on the doors of the treatment rooms for added privacy and isolation.

toothbrush.png

Please brush and floss prior to your appointment; the bathroom and operatory sinks will not be available for this purpose.  In addition to brushing and flossing, all patients will be asked to use a pre-procedural rinse once seated for their appointment.

Once treatment has been completed, the patient will be asked to exit the office without delay. We will utilize contactless payment options as much as possible and will call to review and schedule any complex follow-up treatment that might be required.

We apologize for any inconvenience that these temporary changes may cause.  Thank you for your support and understanding as we do our part to help minimize the impact of Covid-19 in our community.

We miss you and look forward to seeing you all soon! Until then, stay well and keep smiling!
